Our works involved the civil & structural design and build of the reinforced concrete bases for the gas generators, radiators, oil tanks and transformers as well as the construction of the DNO substation base.

We also undertook fencing, kerbing, drainage, ducting (on site and off site) and surfacing works on this project.

The project was carried out within the yard of a very busy haulage company and careful planning had to be implemented to ensure that there were no issues with deliveries and space on site. Additionally, due to the volume of traffic movements on site, a strong health & safety presence was required to ensure that traffic management and pedestrian segregation was adhered to for the safety of all site users during the build.

 

Regular communication with the landowner, other site users and follow on trades was key to delivering this project safely and without incident.
